Cost To County Clouds Budget Talks

Benton County officials held an impromptu discussion on emergency medical services Tuesday, agreeing only there seems to be no solution at hand as work begins on next year’s budget.
Ambulance Service
Benton County budgeted $100,000 for 2011 and $150,000 for 2012 to distribute among the ambulance providers in the unincorporated areas. The money was to be divided among the Bentonville, Rogers, Bella Vista, Gravette, Pea Ridge, Siloam Springs and Springdale fire departments based ambulance calls each department made.
