Traffic makes its way east on the Don Tyson Parkway on Friday, west of Carley Road in Springdale. Springdale is holding a bond election Aug. 14 to raise funds for municipal improvements. The widening of the parkway to five lanes along this portion of the roadway is expected to be one of the improvements included in the construction program.
The city needs approval of a bond issue to bring in more sales tax, said Mayor Doug Sprouse.
