100 YEARS AGO Aug. 2, 1912 HEBER SPRINGS — Six or eight hundred visitors were entertained here this evening, when three teams hitched to wagons ran away, turning up wagon-beds, throwing a barrel of flour about 20 feet in the air and rolling one wagon wheel 20 feet down the hill. The people were thick on the streets, but soon quit the sidewalks and took refuge in the stores for half a mile down the street. One visitor from Little Rock lost his hat, saying it was the first picture show he had attended since he left Little Rock.
