The Sustainable Forestry Initiative has certified the Deltic Timber Corp. for meeting rigorous environmental, economic and social standards. In addition to the SFI Certification, the golf courses at the Deltic-owned and operated Chenal Country Club have been designated by Audubon International as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, making Chenal the only country-club golf course in Arkansas, and one of only 534 courses in the world, to receive the honor.

Deltic — focused on the environmentally responsible management of its woodlands, mills and real estate holdings — is one of our state’s premier natural-resource companies. Deltic’s diversity of assets is represented by its ownership of nearly 450,000 acres of timberland; efficient operation of two sawmills; and the planned development of residential and commercial real estate in Little Rock at Chenal Valley and Chenal Downs, and in Hot Springs at Red Oak Ridge. Headquartered in El Dorado, the company is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol DEL.
