Arkansas scheduled to play consecutive doubleheaders

— Arkansas will play a pair of doubleheaders in the coming days.

The Razorbacks and Kentucky will play two games on Saturday. The first game will begin at 2:07 p.m. with the second game to follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first.

The decision to play twice on Saturday is because of the threat of heavy rain in Northwest Arkansas on Sunday. Only Saturday's single-game and season tickets will be accepted for the doubleheader on Saturday.

Because Saturday's game is sold out of reserved seats, fans holding single-game tickets for Sunday can exchange those for general admission tickets Saturday or a reserved ticket for any other home game this season, based on availability.

The No. 11 Razorbacks defeated the No. 3 Wildcats 8-7 on Friday in the series opener between the teams.

Arkansas also announced it will play a doubleheader against Stephen F. Austin on Tuesday at Baum Stadium. The first game will begin at 3:05 p.m. and the second game will begin at approximately 6:35 p.m.
