Forrest City police to annouce cold-case findings

Police in Forrest City have solved a 12-year-old murder case.

Tawana Blunt, 19, was discovered dead in her home in September, 2000, and had been strangled. She was last seen leaving her workplace, the Coconut Lounge. Police said Blunt's 2-year-old daughter was not at the house and staying with her grandmother at the time of the attack.

Police will announce the findings at a press conference at the Forrest City Civic Center at 10 a.m. tomorrow.
