BURNS PARK YELLOW TRAIL Location:

Park at the covered bridge on Arlene Laman Drive in North Little Rock. Trailhead sign is at south end of bridge.

Length:

The easy, mostly flat path goes 2.82 miles to Campbell Lake. It’s 5.64 miles out and back, but turn around anytime for a shorter trek.

Main attractions:

The trail runs the gamut - woods, bayous, paved portions and soccer fields, and connects with several other trails for those wanting a longer hike.

Hazards:

Yield to horses. They’re lots bigger than you.

Amenities:

Parking. (Water and restrooms at soccer fields.)

Dog, bike, tyke friendly?

Keep the dogs on a leash; kids and bikes will love this multi-use trail.
