SATURDAY’S ANNUAL EVENT BENEFITS SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL IN ROGERS

Lisa Barczewski, left, and Lisa Heffron work Tuesday at the St. Vincent de Paul Outreach Center in Rogers. The food pantry is one of several community services provided by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

Each month, members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Rogers make between 30 and 40 home visits, offering personal contact and practical help to those in need.

FRIENDS OF THE POOR WALK/RUN

Date: Register at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

Walk starts with a blessing at 9 a.m.

Venue: St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1416 W. Poplar in Rogers

Cost: Bring pledges or donation.

Virtual participants can sign up online.
