Adella Gray is set to announce Saturday that she plans to seek election to represent Arkansas House District 84.
That will make her the only announced candidate in District 84, but the incumbent, Rep. Charlie Collins, R-Fayetteville, has said he plans to announce for re-election.
Gray is serving her second four-year term on the Fayetteville City Council.
The House district encompasses parts of Washington County from Lake Fayetteville in the north to slightly beyond Trace Branch Road in the south.
