David and Anita Baker are looking for some blind, Ozark cavefish. David Baker joked Tuesdayhaving a threatened or endangered species on their property could be one way to save the home the couple recently built on land east of Lowell, where they’ve lived for the past 20 years.

Public Input Session
The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department will hold another public input session today on the proposed extension of Arkansas 265 from Arkansas 264 in Springdale to U.S. 62 north of Rogers. The session is from 4 to 7 p.m. at Rogers Heritage High School.
