Texas arrest called 1st time for billionaire

Attorneys: Previous conviction likely not to show in databases

It’s not unusual that Alice Walton’s 1998 drunkendriving conviction did not show up on background checks performed after the billionaire’s recent arrest on a charge of driving while intoxicated, according to two Northwest Arkansas attorneys familiar with such cases.
