Honor by UA is ‘precious,’ ex-coach says

Richardson ready to help

Richardson was one of four recipients of the 2011 Silas Hunt Legacy Award which recognizes black Americans for their achievements or contributions.

The basketball coach who once sued the University of Arkansas over racial discrimination was honored by that institution Monday as a recipient of the Silas Hunt Legacy Award, which recognizes black Americans for their achievements and contributions.
