Anita Overbey became fire chief at the Piney Point Volunteer Fire Department in September and is the only female chief in Benton or Washington counties. She was elected fire chief by fellow firefighters.
Anita Overbey was no stranger to leading an aggressive attack against a wall of flame when she became Benton County’s only female fire chief in September.
