Litigation Stalls Foreclosures

JUDGE’S RULING QUESTIONS NONJUDICIAL PROCESS

Hundreds of local homes making their way through the foreclosure pipeline have been stalled by pending litigation in federal court in Jonesboro.

“Since this spring we have typically seen a modest decline in the foreclosure filings each month when compared to the prior year, but something clearly happened to stop up the pipeline in recent weeks across the state of Arkansas.”
