Service organizations dish up Thanksgiving

Little Bit, a five month old Miniature Pinscher, receives attention from volunteers Andy and Alison Burns Thursday morning as she is held by her owner Rose Abeyta-Fry. The Fayetteville couple delivered a traditional Thanksgiving meal prepared by the American Legion Shelton Tucker Craft Post 27 in Fayetteville to Abeyta-Fry and her husband. The legion delivered about 130 meals in addition to serving at the post on Curtis Street in Fayetteville.

How about we don't send any more folks off to wars that don't address any particular or real threat? Not having any combat veterans would be the easiest and cheapest way of dealing with the problem of what to do with them upon their return to civilization.
