Banks Secure Net Profit
OFFICIALS SAY RESULTS SHOW REGION’S ECONOMY ON THE MEND

Northwest Arkansas banks raked in $122.98 million in net profi t during the first nine months of 2011, nearly double the cumulative earnings from the same period in 2010. Executives say it’s another sign the region’s economy is on the mend.
