City Insurance Rates To Increase
COVERAGE WILL CHANGE, MAYOR SAYS

Aldermen learned during a budget hearing Monday city employees’ insurance rates will climb by double digits.
AT A GLANCE
Rogers Recreation
• The city pays the Rogers Community School Association about $660,000 per year for salaries, maintenance and upkeep on the Rogers Recreation Center.
• The Rogers Community Recreation Association handles the scheduling and management of softball, soccer, tennis, volleyball and basketball leagues. The association charges a fee for the sports programs and pays referees and all other expenses associated with the leagues.
• The Rogers Recreation Center board of directors owns the property and leases it to the city.
