Teachers Test Next Year’s Curriculum

Kindergarten, first- and second-grade teachers got a sneak preview this month of a curriculum to be introduced next year to meet new state standards. “I think if you just jump in, you realize ‘Yeah, I can do this,’ and you’re not scared of it,” said Nancy Milam, a first-grade teacher at Bonnie Grimes Elementary School.

Burial of dead begins in Joplin
