PRICING, COSTS PROMPT SELLOFFS

Workers with the Farmers Livestock Auction sell cattle May 13 at the auction barn near Parsons Stadium in Springdale. Cattle sales are at record highs for a number of reasons including the price of feed and transportation costs.
Northwest Arkansas beef ranchers are taking advantage of high cattle prices to thin their herds.
