SPRINGDALE — A Fayetteville man died after he was ejected from a pickup that rolled over several times in an accident at 3:33 a.m. Thursday on Don Tyson Parkway in Springdale.
Police found Brandon Lee Ingram, 23, of 2800 Wright St. in Fayetteville lying unresponsive in a yard near the corner of Tyson Parkway and Atlanta Place, according to a Springdale Police Department news release.
Mason Price, 23, of 3906 Lankford Drive in Springdale was pinned in the pickup. Members of the Springdale Fire Department removed Price from the truck.
Both men were taken to Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. Ingram was pronounced dead at the hospital. Price was in fair condition Thursday, said a hospital spokesman.
Price was driving the eastbound, black 2003 Ford Ranger pickup when he struck a guard rail, near where the parkway narrows from five to three lanes, according to a news release.
Neither man was using his seatbelt, according to the Arkansas State Police fatal crash report.
No charges have been filed but an investigation into the crash is continuing, said Lt. Kevin Lewis, police spokesman.
