HEART & SOUL: College entry often triggers depression

When you’re young, unsettled and uncertain of the future, college can be a tough place. You’ve escaped from the halls of high school and your parent’s rules and control only to land in the middle of a new social order you have to navigate. At the same time you have professors who expect a high level of independent thinking and personal responsibility and roommates you’ve never met who now share your space.
