Beebe appoints 70 to boards, commissions

Gov. Mike Beebe announced 70 appointments to state boards and commissions Tuesday.

They are:

Lillian Arnold, Pine Bluff, reappointed to the Home Health Care Service Agency Advisory Council. Appointment expires June 30, 2013.

Bill Booker, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Cemetery Board. Appointment expires January 15, 2015.

Dorathy Boulden, El Dorado, to the Arkansas History Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2013. Replaces Shelia Lampkin.

Eric Burnett, Fort Smith, to the Arkansas Tech University Board of Trustees. Appointment expires January 14, 2016. Replaces Dean Wilburn.

Una Carroll, North Little Rock, to the Universal Newborn Hearing, Screening, Tracking and Intervention Advisory Board. Appointment expires January 14, 2013. Replaces Debra Goldman.

Joan Cash, Jonesboro, to the Arkansas Agriculture Board. Appointment expires August 15, 2014. Replaces David Wildy.

Adam Davis, Marianna, to the Arkansas Board of Podiatric Medicine. Appointment expires September 1, 2013. Replaces Bethany Stephans.

Vanessa Davis, Little Rock, reappointed to the Minority Health Commission. Appointment expires January 31, 2013.

Janice Dean, North Little Rock, reappointed to the Prescriptive Authority Advisory Committee. Appointment expires February 1, 2014.

Dr. Peter Emanuel, Little Rock, reappointed to the Oversight Committee on Breast Cancer Research. Appointment expires January 1, 2015.

Rebecca Finney, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Fair Housing Commission. Appointment expires February 1, 2015.

Velma George, Magnolia, to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling. Appointment expires December 1, 2013. Replaces Mary Ragston.

Dr. Charles Henry, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Board of Dispensing Opticians. Appointment expires June 30, 2013. Replaces Benjamin Lowery.

Steven Holder, Searcy, to the Arkansas Arts Advisory Council. Appointment expires June 30, 2012. Replaces Dr. Patricia Cox.

The Honorable Ann Hudson, Forrest City, reappointed to the East Arkansas Community College Board of Trustees. Appointment expires December 31, 2016.

Kimberly Jablonski, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Dietetics Licensing Board. Appointment expires January 15, 2016.

Bruce Jackson, Lockesburg, to the Arkansas Agriculture Board. Appointment expires August 15, 2014. Replaces Robert Martinez.

Charles Johnson, Sherwood, reappointed to the Perfusionists Advisory Board. Appointment expires July 14, 2012.

Tommy Lalman, Palestine, to the Arkansas Beef Council. Appointment expires March 30, 2014. Replaces Marcus Creasy.

Frederick McCollum, Forrest City, reappointed to the East Arkansas Community College Board of Trustees. Appointment expires December 31, 2016.

Dr. Linda McGhee, Prairie Grove, reappointed to the Minority Health Commission. Appointment expires January 31, 2013.

Wesley McKamie, Sherwood, to the Perfusionists Advisory Board. Appointment expires July 14, 2012. Replaces Tim Luft.

Dr. Carolyn Mosley, Fort Smith, reappointed to the Minority Health Commission. Appointment expires January 31, 2013.

Fred Oaks, Quitman, reappointed to the Board of Dispensing Opticians. Appointment expires the June 30, 2013.

Elizabeth Robbins, Hot Springs, to the Arkansas History Commission. Appointment expires January 14, 2018. Replaces Wanda Gray.

Charles Rodgers, Rison, reappointed to the Arkansas Agriculture Board. Appointment expires August 15, 2014.

Alison Rose, Maumelle, to the Arkansas Board of Health Education. Appointment expires July 31, 2013. Replaces Laura Mayfield.

Willie Smith, Forrest City, to the East Arkansas Community College Board of Trustees. Appointment expires December 31, 2016. Replaces Charles Jones.

Dr. Robert Sproles, Little Rock, to the Arkansas Science and Technology Authority. Appointment expires January 14, 2015. Replaces Dennis Teague.
