Officials Vote To Follow Guidelines

COMMISSION TO GO BY STATE RULES

The Benton County Election Commission voted Wednesday to comply with state guidelines concerning the assignment of poll workers and resubmit the county’s request for reimbursement for expenses from the May 18, 2010, primary to reflect state rules.

Refund Checks

Benton County Judge Bob Clinard has authorized the county treasurer to pay a total of $30,900 in refunds to county cities and schools that paid a general and administrative fee for 2010 elections. Clinard also authorized refunds of credit on file with the Benton County Election Commission of $217.49 for the city of Garfield and $348.55 for the city of Gateway.
