TORNADO RECOVERY: Books Collected For Joplin

TEACHERS, BOOKSTORE RECEIVE DONATIONS FOR MISSOURI SCHOOLS

Frankie Jackson was going through her classroom library at the end of the school year when she started thinking about Joplin, Mo., teachers who lost everything in their classrooms.

AT A GLANCE

The Friendly Bookstore, a volunteer project by the Friends of the Rogers Library, is accepting donations of children’s and young-adult books to go to the Joplin School District.

To donate, leave the books in marked bins at the bookstore at 401 N. Second St., Rogers.
