FAYETTEVILLE — Fayetteville Police are on the scene of a shooting reported at a store on North College Avenue.
Details remain sketchy, but the reported shooting occurred at the We Buy Gold store at 1722 N. College Ave.
Witnesses and police said an employee was stabbed inside the store. They said another person inside the store had been shot.
Police said they are investigating whether the incident involved a robbery.
The incident happened a few minutes before 4:30 p.m.
Both injured persons were said to be alert and responsive as they were taken away for medical care.
