Powder Scare Clears Office

Fayetteville firefighters explain the procedure for decontamination Monday to employees of the Department of Human Services after a suspicious substance was reportedly sent to the office in an envelope. About a dozen people had to go through the procedure.
More than a dozen employees were run through a decontamination shower Monday afternoon after an employee at a Department of Human Services office found white powder inside an envelope mailed to the state agency.
