Jehovah’s Witnesses assemble in Fort Smith

June conventions to draw 1.7 million in U.S.

More than 3,600 Jehovah’s Witnesses from a three-state area crowded into the Fort Smith Convention Center on Friday morning for a three-day gathering. Thousands more from Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma are expected to attend weekend events throughout the month.
