Three Seek School Board Position

A lawyer, a banker and a community college administrator will vie for a spot on the Rogers School Board in a Sept. 20 election.

Lisa Anderson

Age: 46

Residency: Rogers since 1977 with a small break living in Springfield, Mo.

Family: Husband, Kevin; one daughter, one son

Employment: Director of institutional research at NorthWest Arkansas Community College

Education: Bachelor’s degree from University of Arkansas in communications; master’s degree from Southwest Missouri State in communications; doctorate of education in higher education administration, University of Arkansas

Military Experience: None

Political Experience: Served on NorthWest Arkansas Community College Board of Trustees, 2001-04

Andrew Hatfield

Age: 34

Residency: Rogers, 29 years

Family: Wife, Jennifer; one daughter

Employment: Self-employed, lawyer at Hatfield Harris law firm

Education: Bachelor’s degree in political science from Westminster College; law degree from University of Arkansas

Military Experience: None

Political Experience: None

Jason Trenary

Age: 38

Residency: Rogers, five years

Family: Wife, Beth; two daughters, one son

Employment: Vice president of Community First Bank, Pea Ridge

Education: Bachelor’s degree in political science from Drury University; graduate degree in banking from Southern Methodist University

Military Experience: None
