Football Sponsorship Request Draws Complaints

A new sponsorship program for Rogers High School football drew complaints from the owner of a local radio station that broadcasts the games.

Sponsorship Requests
The Rogers High School football program is requesting a variety of sponsorships, including:
• Home Game Sponsor, $2,500: Includes a folding table at the entry gate, a formal announcement on a website to be dedicated to Mountie football, four tickets and a pregame ceremony to recognize the sponsorship.
• Youth Camp Sponsor, $3,000: Provides footballs for all youth camps, including all elementary feeder schools for Rogers High School. Company logo is placed on each football.
• Website Platinum Sponsor, $3,000: Limited to one business per season, the businesses logo will be placed at the top of the website. Includes two announcements at each home game, a reserved parking space at home games, four tickets to every home game and $300 in Mountie football gear.
• Pregame meals, meal donation or $1,000 per game: Provides food for players and coaches.
• Senior jersey presentation, $250 per player: Each senior will receive a framed jersey at the end-of-season banquet. The sponsor’s logo will be placed inside the frame.
