Janet LaDean Trotter

— Janet LaDean Trotter, 45, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Monday, July 4, 2011, in Fayetteville. She was born Aug. 4, 1965, in Siloam Springs, Ark., to Buddy and Betty R. (Davis) Breedlove. She was a teacher for West Fork Middle School, a member of Arkansas Teacher’s Association, and a Christian.

Mama Janet made friends everywhere she went and touched many people’s lives with her happy and selfless personality. She has spent the last 21 years loving and inspiring her students in Fort Smith and West Fork Public Schools. Janet’s choice to be an organ donor will have a positive effect on many lives for years to come.

She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Dane Trotter; her mother, Betty Breedlove Wilson and husband, Garland, of Powderly, Texas; one daughter, Brittany Geheb and husband, Anthony, of Lavaca, Ark.; one brother, Alan Breedlove and wife, Karen, of Fayetteville, Ark.; two sisters, Sharon Masters and husband, Kenneth, of Gentry, Ark., and Karon Jones and husband, Terry Don, of North Richland Hills, Texas; three grandchildren; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, L.L. (Bud) Breedlove; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Davis and Mr. and Mrs. John Breedlove, all of Siloam Springs, Ark.

Visitation will be held today, July 7, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. 

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 8, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, Ark., with the Rev. Scott Miller officiating. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend both services.
