SPRINGDALE

Helen M. Nelson, 95, of Springdale died Feb. 23, 2011, at Walnut Grove Nursing and Rehab Center in Springdale. She was born Aug. 8, 1915, in New Castle, Pa., to John J. and Catherine V. O'Leary Maher. She moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1976 from Houston, Texas .

She was a member of St. Raphael's Roman Catholic Church and was active with the Senior Club and the Women's Council. She also volunteered with the Northwest Medical Center Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Nelson on Aug. 11, 2010.

She is survived by one brother, Robert E. Maher of Magnolia, Texas; one sister, Kathleen L. MacMiller and husband Cary J. and many nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at St Raphael's Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today (Monday) at St. Raphael's Catholic Church and the Rosary will begin at 6 p.m.

Lillian Langham Johnson, age 94, of Fayetteville died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, in Fayetteville. She was born Sept. 18, 1916, in Goshen, Ark., to William and Nannie Pitts Langham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howell Johnson.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Johnson Mayes and her husband Paul C. Mayes of Spring, Texas; son, Jerry L. Johnson and his wife Barbara of Fayetteville, Ark.; five grandchildren, Paul Mayes III, Laurie Womack, Lisa Joyner, Sherri Carrizosa, Rhonda Bebout; eight great-grandchildren, Whitney Fronda, Michael Cervenka, Dallas Womack, Jeremy Joyner, Paige Joyner, Wesley Joyner, Sarah Richardson and Will Richardson.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday March 1, 2011, at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Moore's Chapel with burial at Son's Chapel Cemetery in Fayetteville under the direction of Moore's Chapel.

FAYETTEVILLE

Tom McCullough, age 45, of Fayetteville died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, in Houston, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah; two daughters, Kathryn and Caroline McCullough, both of Fayetteville; his father and mother Jack and Cheryl McCullough of Bentonville, Ark.; one sister, Cheryl Murphy and her husband Brian of Columbus, Ohio; niece, Mallory Murphy; two nephews, Jack Murphy and Sean Murphy all of Columbus, Ohio; and his grandmother Helen M. Keller of Rogers, Ark.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. today (Monday) at the Robinson Avenue Church of Christ in Springdale with burial at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.

William H. Biddle, 77, of Fayetteville passed away Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, in Fayetteville. He was born Oct. 20, 1933 in Georgetown, Ky., to Ernest Clay Biddle and Mary Owens Biddle.

He was a retired business owner, former Little League coach, a member of the Optimist Club and Trinity Fellowship.

He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Bowman of Elkins; one son, Michael B. Biddle of Walnut Creek, Calif., one brother and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
