Sammons 65th

Mr. and Mrs. Dee Sammons of Bella Vista are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. Dee Sammons and Wanda Van Horn were married Feb. 24, 1946, at Main Street Christian Church in Stockton, Kan., by the Rev. E.M. McDonald. They have three children, Judy Schmitter and husband Steve of Wichita, Kan., Patty Brown and husband Bob of Kansas City, Kan., and Van Sammons and wife Becky of Canton, Ga.; 11 grandchildren, Todd Maddux, Randy Maddux, Tammy Perez, Ashley Schmitter, Kim Driggs, Kara Haney, Cicely Robertson, Jonja Brown, Sara Sammons-Ulmer, Jenny Callaway and Lori Sammons; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Callan 65th

Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Callan of Rogers recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. A.W. Callan and Sue Hendricks were married Feb. 16, 1946, at First Baptist Church in Fort Smith by the Rev. B.V. Ferguson. The couple has four children, Kitty Hendershott of Pensacola, Fla., Pat Smith and Becky Larue of Auburn, Ala., and Janis Vestal of Rogers; 11 grandchildren; and fi ve great-grandchildren.

Robertson 50th

Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Gene Robertson of Bella Vista celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with a reception Feb. 19, 2011, at Village Baptist Church in Bella Vista. Tommy Robertson and Leatha Mae Setser were married Feb. 23, 1961, at Winneta Heights Baptist Church in Tulsa, Okla., by Minister Jack W. Carleton. They have two children, Ron Robertson of Shrewsbury, Mo., and Thomas Robertson of Eureka, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

Shackelford 50th

Mr. and Mrs. Bertie Shackelford of Elkins are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary from 2 to 6 p.m. March 5, 2011, at Elkins Full Gospel Fellowship Hall in Elkins. Bertie Shackelford and Dorothy Sanders were married March 6, 1961. They have two children, Brad Shackelford and Troy Shackelford, both of Fayetteville; and three grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Marion J. Sellers of Prairie Grove are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Sonny Sellers and Joy E. McElyea were married Feb. 24, 1951, by the Rev. Olia Tackett. They have two children, Marianna Traylor and husband Michael of Prairie Grove, and Mark Sellers and wife Marcia of Okarche, Okla.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Eulias Adams of Bentonville are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. Eulias Adams and Janice Faddis were married Feb. 19, 1961, in Turlock, Calif., by the Rev. Robert Leeds. They have three children, Audrey Adams of Fayetteville, Jay and Regina Adams of Springdale and Tiffany Adams and Perry Auixer of Fayetteville; and eight grandchildren, Grace Chandler, Halen Auixer, Kelsie Carmean, Logan Carmean, Morgan Carmean, Laine Adams, Skyler Adams and Tanner Adams.
