The Fort Smith Museum of History will host woodworking and tool demonstrations from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. today.

Master craftsman Duane Hidelberg of Natural Dam will show guests how to make a Windsor chair. Hidelberg is considered one of the top 200 traditional furniture craftsmen in the United States by Early American Life magazine.

Calvin Alley will discuss woodworking tools that belonged to his father, Charles Alley. The 19th-century tools are exhibited in the Museum of Early American Tools.

Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children. More information is available by calling (479) 783-7841.

The celebrated Vienna Boys Choir will perform at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The group traces its lineage 500 years and is known as one of the best choirs in the world. The group features boys ages 10-14 who perform everything from medieval to contemporary music.

Tickets are $18-32. More information is available by calling (479) 443-5600.

Lions for Life at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith will host a clothing drive for children through March 10.

Residents are asked to donate new and used clothing - especially children’s clothing - along with toys, blankets and other items for children and babies.

Donated items will be offered at no cost to needy families in the area.

Families will receive tickets based on family size. They can trade the tickets for clothing, toys and other items at a “yard sale” set for 9-11 a.m. March 12.

Volunteers are also needed for the event. More information is available by calling (479) 788-7533.
