— LSU 84, MISSISSIPPI STATE 82

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Aaron Dotson scored 16 points, Storm Warren added 14 and LSU (11-17, 3-10 SEC) held on to beat Mississippi State (14-13, 6-7).

LSU snapped a 10-game losing streak, dating back to a Jan. 12 victory over Arkansas. The Tigers ended their misery by scoring their most points since a season-opening victory over Northwestern State.

Renardo Sidney scored 24 points and Dee Bost added 15 as Mississippi State overcame a 10-point deficit in the second half, tying the score at 77-77 with 1:41 left. But the Bulldogs never took the lead.

Mississippi State lost despite shooting 56 percent from the field (28 of 50). Riley Benock missed an 18-foot jumper at the buzzer that would have tied it.

ALABAMA 51, AUBURN 49

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - JaMychal Green scored on a tip-in with 0.3 seconds left to lift Alabama (19-8, 11-2 SEC) to a come-from-behind victory over rival Auburn (9-18, 2-11).

Tony Mitchell drove to the basket and missed, but Green ran in for the game-winner for Alabama, which had trailed by as many as 15 points in the first half.

Auburn, which had four players foul out, tied the score on Tony Neysmith’s driving bank shot with 13 seconds to play.
