Rona Lisa Anderson

FAYETTEVILLE — Rona Lisa Anderson, 54, of Fayetteville, passed away Feb. 22, 2011, at her home.

She was born June 23, 1956, in Fayetteville, to Elmer E. Omohundro and Betty Faye Omohundro.

She served in the U.S. Army and was employed at the Veterans Hospital of Fayetteville for several years. She was a retired district manager for Braum’s Restaurants and enjoyed fishing. She was a member of Baptist Ford Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

She is survived by her father, Elmer E. Omohundro; daughter, Sherrie Lerz and her husband, Ryan Martin John Lerz; and two sisters, Jackie Barrett, of Fayetteville, and Anna Johnson, of Fayetteville. She is also survived by her grandson, Miles Avery Lerz; and many friends.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at Moore’s Chapel Funeral Home in Fayetteville.

William Ray Studards

SILOAM SPRINGS — William “Bill” Ray Studards, 63, of Siloam Springs died Feb. 22, 2011, at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born March 17, 1947, in Humboldt, Tenn., to William A. and Rubye Mason Studards.

He was a Vietnam veteran and a Siloam Springs Police Department captain.

Survivors include his wife, Lola; four daughters, Tina Cumnus and husband, Michael, and Joelle Roddy, all of Dallas, Texas, Angela Case and husband, Andy, of Monticello, and Katie Studards of Tahlequah, Okla.; a stepdaughter, April Stickland of Gloucester, Va.; a stepson, Corey Coleman of Gloucester, Va.; two sisters including, Jane Comstock and husband, David, of Siloam Springs; and four grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Sanford Forest Brooks

BELLA VISTA — Sanford “Chick” Forest Brooks, 97, of Bella Vista died Feb. 21, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice Legacy in Bentonville. He was born Oct. 6, 1913, in Batesville to Lawrence and Nora Gambill Brooks.

He was a member of several golfing associations.

Survivors include his wife, Louise; a son, Roy Brooks of Siloam Springs; a daughter, Linda Best of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers; four sisters; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. March 1 at the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista.

Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory.

Kylee Lynnelle Norris-Townzen

GRAVETTE — Kylee Lynnelle Norris-Townzen, 7 weeks, of Gravette died Feb. 18, 2011, at the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 30, 2010, in Bentonville.

Survivors include her mother, Krista Lea Norris, of Gravette, and her father, Mathew David Townzen, of Mena.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Clifty Cemetery.

Frank Paul Carollo

BENTONVILLE — Frank Paul Carollo, 75, of Bentonville, Ark., died Feb. 21, 2011. He was born on July 27, 1935, to Pasquale and Nadine Lucille (Garner) Carollo in St. Louis, Mo.

In 1971, Frank earned a bachelor of science degree from Arizona State University, graduating with distinction. Having spent 12-and-a-half years in the United States Air Force, Frank got his start in the computer industry while in service. He spent part of five decades in positions ranging from hardware maintenance tech, programmer, software engineer, product manager, computer salesman and sales management positions, up to, and including vice president of sales and marketing. His career included employment with General Electric, Perkin Elmer, Harris Corporation and Scientific Computer Systems.

Animal husbandry, Murray Grey cattle in particular, was a passion with Frank. He ended up with 12 prized cows, purchasing them from five states and Canada. In 1988, he was elected president of the American Murray Grey Association.

Frank had a variety of hobbies including golf, camping, fishing, poker, antique collecting and Fantasy Football.

Frank is survived by his wife, Paula Lee (Dombek) Carollo; son, Jim Carollo, and daughter, Rebecca Rowe, both from a former marriage; daughter-in-law, Ann Carollo of Prairie Village, Kan.; son-in-law, Joel Rowe of Newnan, Ga.; six grandchildren, Connor and Cameron Carollo, Noah, Josanna, Luke and Eden Rowe; Frank’s brothers, Joseph, Peter and Sam Carollo; sisters, Gina Carollo and Mary Impellizzeri; and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

Frank is also survived by his beloved stepchildren, Clint and wife, Mary Hutchinson, of Little Rock, Ark., and Darla Hutchinson and Brandon Goff of Paris, Ark.; and step-grandchildren, Lilly, Melissa and David Hutchinson.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; oldest son, Frank P. Carollo Jr.; and brothers, James A. Carollo and John Carollo.

Larry Wayne Cannady Jr.

ROGERS — Larry Wayne “Punkin” Cannady Jr., 40, of Rogers died Feb. 18, 2011. He was born Sept. 3, 1970, in Rogers to Larry Wayne Sr. and Patsy Swadley Cannady.

He worked for years as a logger.

Survivors include his mother, Patsy Cannady, of Rogers; four daughters, Tonya Lynn Cannady of Cave Springs, and Cheyenne, Cherokee and Shawnee Cannady, all of Carl Junction, Mo.; and a grandchild.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Tucks Chapel Cemetery in Little Flock.

Arrangements are by Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
