FAYETTEVILLE — The city’s Historic District Commission is looking for volunteers to put together an awards program to recognize historic preservation attempts in the city.
A three-member selection committee comprised of one architect and two community members at-large will announce the city’s first-ever historic preservation awards in May.
Five awards will be announced recognizing long-term preservation of historic structures, renovation or reuse of existing structures and new construction that promotes infill.
