Homer A. Mason

MARIONVILLE, Mo. — Homer A. Mason, 80, formerly of Bella Vista, died Feb. 19, 2011, at Ozarks Methodist Manor in Marionville, Mo. He was born Aug. 28, 1930, in New Orleans to Robert Slay and Alta Irene Mason.

He was a Marine and a Korea War veteran. He worked for 40 years at General Dynamics in California.

Survivors include his wife, Marge; two daughters, Devorah L. Fraser of Orange, Calif., and Pamela D. Jennings of Simpsonville, S.C.; two brothers; and four sisters.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Judson American Baptist Church, 1702 Forest Hills Road in Bella Vista.

Faye Annalee Carver

GRAVETTE — Faye Annalee Carver, 87, of Gravette died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at Highlands Health and Rehab in Bentonville. She was born Jan. 8, 1924, in Hiwasse to the late W.G. and Minnie (Walthall) Jones.

Faye loved to read and was a very social person, always outgoing and talkative. She worked for Walmart for 12 years and was always smiling.

Faye is survived by her husband, Jay Warren Carver; one son, Jerry Carver of Hiwasse; one daughter, Patsy Robertson of Hiwasse; one sister, Gladys Gatton of Gravette; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services for Faye will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Centerton, with visitation the evening before, today, Feb. 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Callison Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville.

Keith DeVere Graham

BELLA VISTA — Keith DeVere Graham, 89, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville, Ark. He was born on July 11, 1921, in Topeka, Kan., to Clinton L. Graham and Ethel Griffith Graham.

Keith married Doris Ross on Dec. 30, 1943, in Holton, Kan. He served in the 15th Air Force during WWII as a bombardier and was awarded the Purple Heart.

He graduated from Kansas State Teacher’s College and received his master’s degree from Greeley State Teachers College. He retired from the Wichita Public School System and they moved to Bella Vista, Ark.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Doris Graham of Bella Vista, Ark.; one daughter, Patricia K. Harrop and husband, David, of Bella Vista, Ark.; one grandson, Matthew Harrop and wife, elise; one great-granddaughter, Emma Katherine Harrop; and nephew, James Graham.

A memorial service will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011, at Concordia on The Hill in the all-purpose room, Bella Vista, Ark.
