GIRLS
FORT SMITH SOUTHSIDE 45, BENTONVILLE 43 Brooke Mabeus’ threepointer from 24 feet came up short as host Fort Smith Southside (14-9, 8-4 7A-West) hung on to defeat Bentonville (16-9, 4-7). Emily Jones led Southside with 10 points. Mabeus scored 14 points to lead Bentonville.
