Clinics offer 40 training choices

— Each of the 40 Women Run Arkansas clinics will be different from every other one.

Most will begin meeting during the week of Feb. 27, but several won’t start until March 1 (including Debbie Lawrence and Ginger Morgan’s group in Clinton and Jean Schooler’s in Hot Springs Village); and in Harrison, Mary Michels plans to start her women walking Tuesday.

Some clinics will meet to do registration paperwork before their training sessions meet.

In Mulberry, Christie Burdick and Stephanie Clardy are throwing a potluck and paperwork party at 6 p.m. today at United Methodist Church in Mulberry. In Greers Ferry, Cheryl Golden will do registration paperwork at 5:30 p.m. today at the Baptist Health Family Clinic.

Maumelle’s group, led by Karen Hayes, plans a kickoff party with door prizes from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Jesse Odom Community Center.

In Bentonville, Ronda Downey and Tina James will serve snacks at their registration meeting from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Arvest Conference Center on the Bentonville Square. In Lonoke, Mary Poe and Deseria Blair are hoping that 50 or more women will show up for their registration meeting 7 p.m. Thursday in the Lonoke Community Center.

This is an incomplete list. For local contacts, see the chart above.
