FAYETTEVILLE — City staff will present recommendations to guide development over the next 20 years during a community presentation Thursday.
The meeting will be at 6 p.m. in the Genesis Building at the University of Arkansas Research and Technology Park, 700 Research Center Blvd.
Development Services Department Staff and planning commissioners have worked to update land-use and street plans under City Plan 2030. The development tool is updated every five years.
City Plan 2030 has six goals:
• Make infill and revitalization a top priority
• Discourage suburban sprawl
• Make traditional town form the standard
• Grow a livable transportation network
• Assemble an enduring green network
• Create opportunities for attainable housing.
