District Could Spend The Money On Future Renovations

Street Costs Climb As Snow Falls

Chris Hook with the Bentonville Water Department stops traffic Friday while workers clear snow in downtown Bentonville. Mike Churchwell, city transportation engineer, said the city is fully stocked with sand and salt for the roads. The city spent $55,000 on overtime and material prior to last week’s snowstorm. The cost to clear last week’s snowstorm will not be available until Monday or Tuesday, Churchwell said.
