More Precipation Forecast for Weekend

Springdale Police Officer Hank Brockmeyer keeps an eye on traffic Friday to keep it from colliding with a Nissan Stanza that slid off Randall Wobbe Lane in Springdale. The region was hit with a second snow storm creating hazardous driving conditions and snarling traffic throughout Northwest Arkansas. Area law enforcement saw a spike in traffic accidents Friday as another coat of snow blanketed Northwest Arkansas. Springdale police responded to 12 vehicle accidents by 3:30 p.m. Friday, Lt. Kevin Lewis said. “It’s more than we want, that’s for sure,” he said.
