— Power companies have reported very few outages during the aftermath of a winter storm that hit Northwest Arkansas this week.

Peter Main, a spokesperson with Swepco, said Wednesday that very few customers lost power this week.

He said the electric cooperative has had no more than 24 customers out at any given time since Tuesday morning. Main said the company serves more than 80,000 customers across the region.

Ozarks Electric Cooperative reported zero outages since the last outage was restored at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Communications Director Penny Storms said those customers were near Combs and Hindsville. She said they service about 66,000 customers in Northwest Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma.

A spokesperson with Carroll Electric Cooperative Corp. also reported few outages and said there were currently no reports of outages in their area. The cooperative serves portions of Benton, Madison and Newton counties in Arkansas and some areas in Missouri.
