Bill Mills credits hiking with greatly improving his health and fitness. In eight years, Mills, of Beaver Shores, has missed only two days of hiking. Here Mills walks along the Hidden Diversity Multiuse Trail at Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area.

Bill Mills used to huff and puff, but blowing down a house of cards may have taken his breath away before he started hiking eight years ago.
