Among celebrity visitors, beloved Buddhist has biggest impact

Of course, the Dalai Lama wasn’t the only celebrity to visit Northwest Arkansas in 2011, but it could be argued that from announcement to aftermath, his visit had a pervasive and lasting impact.
The hype generated by the May 11 visit of His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama, spiritual leader of the Tibetan people, was exponentially bigger than the diminutive, perpetually smiling man.
