Mavericks seeking repeat

Dirk Nowitzki (right) and the defending NBA champion Dallas Mavericks will be hard pressed to keep up their streak of consecutive 50-win seasons, which sits at 10 seasons, because of the team’s age and the shortened regular season.
Dirk Nowitzki has an idea of what it’s like to be an NBA champion. He learned one of the lessons over the years he spent being teammates with Devean George.
