Manslaughter Plea Possible

ATTORNEY PLANS TO SHOW WALTER WAS TORMENTED

A defense attorney plans to present evidence and testimony that a Rogers woman was so tormented by her husband she shot and killed him due to an “extreme emotional disturbance” at the time of the shooting, according to a letter filed in the case.

HEALTH CONCERNS CITED: City May Close Motel

The Springdale City Council is setting a hearing date on pulling the business license for the Sunrise Inn at the southeast corner of Robinson Avenue and Thompson Street. The motel has received numerous complaints about code violations, health dangers and illegal activities in the motel.
