NACA Users Want Nonusers To Pay Director’s Salary

John Sampier, Northwest Arkansas Conservation Authority executive director, talks about the history and the future of the regional wastewater treatment plant in Highfill. At the November board meeting, it was recommended if member cities did not contribute enough to pay Sampier’s salary then his position could be eliminated.
The two users of the Northwest Arkansas Conservation Authority want nonuser members to pay some of the cost of the wastewater treatment facilities.
