Championship To Be Broadcast In Fayetteville

— Fayetteville High School students will for the first time broadcast the 7A state championship football game Saturday when the Fayetteville Bulldogs meet the Bentonville High School Tigers.

The game will be broadcast from War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. Kickoff is set for noon.

The FHS-TV broadcast will be available on Cox Cable 217 throughout Northwest Arkansas, according to a Cox spokesman.

It also will be shown on AT&T Uverse Channel 99, although it was unclear Thursday how broadly it will be shown on that service.

Anyone can watch a live stream of the broadcast at the school district website. Go to fayar.net/community/aboutus.html and select FPS Livestream.

Fayetteville students will broadcast the game. Lelia Sarvestani will serve as the camerawoman. Shane Stroinski and Nate Korth will serve as play-by-play and color commentators.

This is the first remote broadcast of a live event by FHS-TV. In the event of signal interruption, the broadcast will continue, though it may be delayed for a few moments.
