SPRINGDALE — Public swimming pools in Springdale will be closing as school begins.
The Jones Center pool will be closed beginning Tuesday for scheduled maintenance. It will open Aug. 30.
The Springdale Aquatic Center will close on weekdays, beginning Wednesday. It will remain open on weekends through Labor Day, the last day of its season.
The Jones Center ice arena and gymnasium will close from Aug. 23-29 for maintenance.
